Borrow money without credit
A Credither is an initiative to lend money to entrepreneurs so that they can invest and grow. There are various Credithers in the Netherlands, which in addition to money also offer experience and, for example, a network to help starting entrepreneurs on their way.
The uniqueness of a Credither is that they use a form of crowdfunding, by bringing money together. Existing SME entrepreneurs can register as a lending party and coach. They indicate a certain amount that they want to lend to the maximum and, furthermore, commit themselves to supporting starting entrepreneurs. Thanks to crowdfunding, the starting entrepreneur has the opportunity to borrow money from the Credither. Thanks to the combined initiative, existing entrepreneurs run only a limited risk, while on the other hand sufficient money comes together to achieve the goals.
For and by entrepreneurs
The unique thing about a Credither is that it can be started by both entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. It is the starting entrepreneurs who often come across a ‘no’ at the bank and are therefore looking for alternative forms of financing. Thanks to the Credither, they can make use of a credit spread over several lenders, who ensure that sufficient funds come together through crowdfunding. By putting all of them in a little, a large amount is created. Of course the entrepreneurs put the non-profit money together to help starting entrepreneurs.
Borrow money without a bank
The Credither makes it possible to borrow money without a bank and thus ensures that starting entrepreneurs with sufficient capital can also get started. The banks have been quite cautious for a few years now and thus do not contribute to the recovery of the Dutch economy. The various existing entrepreneurs who participate in the Credither ensure with their available cash that the money starts rolling again and the economy can recover. Moreover, on the basis of crowdfunding, Credither contributes to better mutual solidarity between the entrepreneurs, who can help each other further.
